A Note from the Founder
A student spends fifteen years of their life getting educated.
From the day they first pick up a pencil to the day they walk out of their Class 12 exam — fifteen years of showing up, studying, failing, trying again. And by the end of it, they carry something incredibly valuable: a deep, lived understanding of what it actually takes to learn a subject.
That realisation stayed with me.
Because here's the thing nobody talks about — thinking you can teach and actually becoming a teacher are two completely different things. Not everyone who knows a subject can explain it. Not everyone who explains it can connect with a child. Teaching is a craft. It takes patience, instinct, and genuine care that no degree can guarantee.
So I built Diksha around one simple idea.
There are students out there — brilliant ones — who have both the knowledge and the heart to teach. And there are families who want the best possible teacher for their child, someone nearby, someone verified, someone real. These two people exist in the same city, sometimes in the same neighbourhood — and they just never find each other.
Diksha connects them.
That is it. That is the whole thing.
A family gets the best teacher close to home. A teacher gets the right student and a family that values them. No long commutes. No compromise. Just the right match, in the right place, at the right time.
And through all of it, one thing my very first teacher gave me has never left.
